| Nehru and Edwina Mountbatten sharing a joke. Nehru and Lord Mountbatten were close friends and everyone knows it but after long time it was revealed that Nehru have secret affair with Lord Mountbatten's wife named Edwina Mountbatten. In this picture we can see that Nehru and Edwina both are sharing a joke with each other while Lord Mountbatten is not interested and looking somewhere else. This photo was taken by Photographer Henry Cartier who was in India to cover independence of India for Life Magazine that time. And this was the famous picture of that assignment. |
